"A Day at the Pool" is a painting from the series "Somewhere Between" in which I present the connections between the real world and the imagination.
This painting shows a pool in several forms: as a place for swimming, interesting architecture and an outdoor pool, among flowers and grass. There is a shower that we use before and after entering the pool. The person in the painting is just putting on their cap but they already have their goggles on. A place like a pool is not just a space filled with water. It is a show of colorful swimsuits, caps and flip-flops. In the distance, if you look closely, there is a small prize that awaits the one who swims hard. Or maybe it is not a prize but the reason why you are at the pool?
